Four Members of Parliament on Sunday accused former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of meddling in the independence of the Judiciary by attacking Chief Justice Willy Mutunga.
The MPs Gachoki Gitari (Kirinyaga Central), Njogu Barua (Gichugu), Joseph Kiuna (Njoro) and James Gakuya of Embakasi North spoke during a thanksgiving service for Mr Barua at Kianyaga Catholic Church in Kirinyaga County.
They said the Supreme Court ruling that dismissed Mr Odinga’s petition and upheld the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta was fair and should be supported by all Kenyans.
Mr Odinga had hit out at Dr Mutunga who presided over the six-member court.
