A company contracted to build houses for the Ministry of Housing and the National Housing Corporation has come under the spotlight after failing to complete several of the projects. Policemen living in a block of flats along Muthithi Road in Parklands say they have not had water for days after supplies were disconnected due to non-payment of the bill. The policemen, who are assigned to provide security for diplomats are frustrated as their superiors are aware of the situation and yet have done nothing to alleviate their suffering. What with the insecurity in Garissa and other parts of the country, the IG and the National Police Service might need to look into this also.
