The committee on assumption to the office of the president has dismissed criticism over regular briefings given to president-elect Uhuru Kenyatta. Committee chairman, Francis Kimemia says they are acting well within the law saying the constitution requires the team to brief a president-elect immediately such a declaration is made by the electoral commission. This comes even as Kenyatta continued with his busy schedule, meeting various arms of the government and interest groups.
