RAILA ODINGA SHOCKED as MERU RESIDENTS attend his rally with UHURU KENYATTA’s regalia

Friday February 15, 2013 - Prime Minister Raila Odinga was on Thursday shocked at a rally in Meru, after area residents attended his rally wearing Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s caps and T- shirts.

Although the rally continued with calm, the PM was shocked to learn that majority of Meru residents were wearing Uhuru Kenyatta’s caps and T-shirts.

This forced the PM to call for an urgent meeting with his campaign chiefs after the rally, to question on whether they lacked campaign materials to offer to Meru people.

In other news, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka was booed and heckled at a rally in Chuka town on Thursday.

The VP, who is Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s running mate in CORD alliance, was forced to apologise to the area residents for verbally attacking Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s development record.

Kalonzo was forced to cut short his rally and fly off the venue, after rowdy youths continuously heckled and booed him.
