Martha Karua ready for historic PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE




Monday February 11, 2013 - Narc Kenya Presidential hopeful Martha Karua has declared that she is ready for the historic Presidential debate scheduled for today at 7pm.

Speaking  to the press at  Brookhouse International School after a short rehearsal conducted by Presidential debate 2013 organisers  on Sunday, Karua said she will ensure all the Presidential candidates (who will attend ) answer to the problems facing Kenyans.

“I came to familiarise myself with setting. I am satisfied with plans that have put in place and I am ready for the debate,” Karua said.

She said she is ready to state her case to the Kenyan voter and thanked the media fraternity for such a brilliant idea.

The Venue’s Production Manager Sharleem Samat said all six presidential candidates invited for the televised debate have confirmed their attendance.

She said an audience of about 200 to 250 pre-selelected individuals will attend.

“It is all systems go, for this historic moment in Kenya. We are just doing final rehearsals just to make sure everything goes as planned,” Samat said on Sunday.

Samat said the audience is expected at the venue as early as 4 pm to be seated by 6 pm so that live broadcasts can begin at 6.30 pm.

She said Presidential candidates will take the debate stands at exactly 7pm.
