Cord asks voters to vet rivals

The newly re-launched Cord Effect campaign team took their campaigns to the expansive Gusii region ahead of Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s tour of the region today and warned Kenyans against electing leaders with questionable character.
While in Kisii town on Sunday, the team asked voters to thoroughly scrutinize all the presidential candidates before casting their ballot.

Speaking during campaigns across Kisii County, the team led by Sports Minister Ababu Namwamba said that some of the candidates seeking the top seat cannot be trusted with leadership because they have questionable records.
“We cannot trust you with the leadership of this country when we know that you have questionable character,” said Mr Namwamba.
The team toured Nyamarambe, Etago,Kenyenya,Mogonga, Nyamache,Igare, before holding a final rally at Nyanturago in Nyaribari Masaba constituency. Mr Namwamba hit out at Jubilee leaders Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto saying they should explain the source of their wealth and what they had done for the country.
