Politicians have been told to stop flying after 6pm as a security measure even as they canvass for votes countrywide.
Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo said Tuesday that presidential candidates on the campaign trail should instead use alternative means of transport since flying after 6pm would affect a pilot's visibility.
Mr Kimaiyo said the move will also check air accidents.
Flying to campaign venues has become the norm with politicians using choppers to criss-cross the country as the search for votes intensify ahead of voting on March 4.
