Jubilee will revolutionise Kenya – Ngilu

Narc leader Charity Ngilu has said a Jubilee government will revolutionise the country’s leadership and find a solution to the myriad of problems facing many Kenyans.
“Successive regimes have failed Kenyans as they have perpetuated hopelessness among the people through oppressive leadership. I guarantee you that the Jubilee government will be different and will make life better for all Kenyans,” she said.
The Water minister was addressing a public rally at Mutomo market in Kitui on Saturday. She was accompanied by outgoing Mutitu MP Kiema Kilonzo and women's representative hopeful Winnie Kitetu.
Ngilu, who was hosted by Kitui South Narc aspirant Rachael Nyamai, said Kenyatta had signed a binding MOU to implement the basic needs revolution envisioned in the Narc manifesto.
“Voting a Jubilee government will end food and medical care inadequacies, ensure free education up to form four and wealth creation as well as support women,” she added.
“I do not want the Kambas out of the government. If that happens then we will not enjoy the true fruits of development.” Ngilu hit out at former Cabinet minister Nyiva Mwendwa for opting for the “lowly” Kitui County women representative seat.
She said the position did not match Nyiva’s political stature as it was made for women political novices. “It is a shame that a mature politician who is full for an experienced like Nyiva is stooping too low to vie for the women representative position. She should have faced me in the race for Kitui senator if she felt she was popular enough,” said Ngilu.
