HENRY KOSGEI in major TROUBLE after his constituents THREATEN

Tuesday January 1, 2013 - Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairman Henry Kosgei is between a rock and a hard place after his constituents vowed to send him home if he does not join Eldoret North MP William Ruto’s bandwagon, the United Republican Party (URP).

Kosgei, who is eying the Nandi County Senate on an ODM ticket, was on Saturday warned by Nandi elders, who told him to ditch ODM to URP if he wants to survive politically.

The Industrialization Minister who has been a vocal supporter of Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been silent on the issue and his steadfast support for the PM might cost him his political future as the constituents are ardent supporters of Ruto’s URP.

The Minister is the second longest serving MP after President Mwai Kibaki.

He has served Tinderet constituency for nearly three decades.
