CORD STORMS RUTO'S BACKYARD

The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has pitched tent in Uasin Gishu County with its leaders expected to hold three separate rallies Saturday. Cord presidential candidate Raila Odinga, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula will canvass for votes before converging at Eldoret 64 Stadium for a joint rally. Mr Odinga kicked off his vote hunt in Kesses and Ziwa while Mr Musyoka was in Turbo and Moi’s Bridge. Mr Wetangula took the Cord campaign to Ainabkoi and Tembelion in Eldoret East. The Cord team is touring Jubilee coalition's running mate William Ruto’s backyard only a day after Amani headed by Musalia Mudavadi made forays in the area addressing mini rallies in Burnt Forest, Cheptiret and Langas. The Amani team was scheduled to campaign in Baringo County.
