Wednesday October 24, 2012 - United Democratic Forum (UDF) Presidential hopeful Musalia Mudavadi has said his main priority is to ensure there is peace in Kenya.
Speaking in Nairobi, Mudavadi who also the Sabatia MP said although other goals such as social and economic goals will be important in the next government, they can only be achieved, if there is a conducive environment.
The Deputy Prime Minister also promises to address insecurity, unemployment and poverty in urban areas.
He said this were achievable targets “as long as you say YES YES to Mudavadi”
Mudavadi said he stands for peace, unity and prosperity of Kenyans.
Mudavadi said politicians on their campaign trails will promise Kenyans how they will build roads hospitals and create employment opportunities but without peace all these promises cannot be achieved.
The Sabatia lawmaker called all Kenyans to elect leaders who can reconcile them and stand for peace.
