UHURU KENYATTA’s wealth cannot stop me from being PRESIDENT

Monday October 29,2012 - Presidential hopeful and Narc Kenya Chairperson Martha Karua has said  Deputy  Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s wealth cannot stop her from winning the upcoming Presidential election.

Addressing residents of Nyeri town over the weekend, Karua, who is also the Gichugu MP, said she is ready to face off Uhuru Kenyatta regardless of his immense wealth.

She said her campaigns will centre on truth and justice that she stands for “as Uhuru Kenyatta and his men continue blindfolding voters with money from their deep pockets”.

“I will warn residents of falling into the politicians’ money trap in exchange for votes. That money will last for a short period and then you go back to your normal life struggle,” Karua said.

The Former Minister of Justice said President Kibaki regime “is surrounded by merciless looters of public funds who care less of the Mwananchi’s plight”.

Karua urged voters to vet those vying for various seats and elect them based on their past records.

“Some of my competitors have turned to regional and ethnic politics by saying that they should be voted for because they belong the House of Mumbi,” she said.
