SON wanted to kill former MINISTER and her HUSBAND




Wednesday October 24, 2012 - Former assistant Minister Bett Tett has claimed that her son Mr David Tett wanted to kill her and her husband during a violent robbery at their Karen home.

Bett told a Nairobi court on Tuesday that her son accompanied with others who were not in the court, tried to rob her Sh 157,000 on September 6 at their home in Nairobi County.
Corporal Benson Ingosi and Constable Hillary Kyalo told the court that that they found two bodies at Tett’s family compound with the telephone contacts of Bett’s son David.

Police also recovered a pistol, four live ammunitions and along knife next to bodies of David’s accomplices.

According to police, David managed to escape after police accosted the gangsters but her mother managed to spot him during the escape.

David was later arrested and detained at Embakasi Inland Port and Langata police stations.
The hearing continues.
