Raila campaigns in Mudavadi turf, as DPM woos Nairobi

To close a week of heightened negotiations, presidential hopefuls are this weekend touring various parts of the country to sell their bids.
Prime Minister Raila Odinga is touring Western region, the home turf of another presidential hopeful and Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi.   Raila who is on a tour of Bungoma and Kakamega counties is today expected to attend the burial of former Rarieda MP Odeny Ngure.
Kalonzo’s tour
Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka, who was on a three-day tour of the North Rift and visited Turkana County, returns to Nairobi tomorrow, according to his spokesman Kaplich Barsito.
Mr Mudavadi will be in Nairobi where he is expected to address rallies in Kasarani, Starehe, and Embakasi constituencies with stopovers in Mathare North, Huruma Kwa Chief, Kiamaiko, Kariobangi North, Dandora Phase 3, and Kayole.
Tomorrow, Mudavadi will tour Kamukunji and Makadara where he will attend a church service and address the public at Buruburu Shopping Centre, Sinai, Kingston, Pipeline, Kayaba, Landi Mawe, Majengo and Machakos Country Bus,” Kibisu Kabatesi, the DPM’s spokesman said.
Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to take his campaigns to Embu and Meru with TNA allied MPs.
Eldoret North MP William Ruto has planned campaigns in Isiolo, Samburu and Kuresoi this weekend as he markets URP.
Water minister Charity Ngilu is expected to hit the campaign trail after arriving from New York where she addressed the fifth Annual Global Hand Washing Forum. 
Mrs Ngilu, the Narc party leader, is contesting the presidency on a platform of a ‘Basic Needs Revolution’ that she says makes five promises in five years to provide food and water, affordable health, education, wealth creation and women empowerment.
