Tuesday, October 23, 2012 - Most Kenyans definitely never dreamt of the day that they would see Mama Odinga singing. After Martha Karua did a track with Juliani and Jal, here comes Ida Odinga with Shanky Radics.
Yesterday at an interview with Citizen TV’s Willy M. Tuva, Shanky had this amazing news for his fans and said he is back with a bang. Shanky is famed for his hit track Bambika which has up to date ruled the airwaves as an all time favorite for many Kenyans.
Last week Shanky was among artists who were honored at the Florida 2000 Golden awards which marked a new beginning in his music career.
At the show he thrilled fans as he sang parts of the song Ladha ya Mapenzi a collabo with gospel artist Willy Paul. Shanky told Tuva that he is set to launch a new song which is a collabo with the Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s wife Ida.
Apparently Shanky was hanging out with a friend at a joint in Nairobi and as he was explaining to his friend about a track he has been working on dubbed Amani, Ida entered the joint and was introduced to him.
They made plans to do a collabo and Shanky wrote her lines for her. If you did not know that Ida can sing then keep it here for the track.
