President Kibaki may have faith in his new Security Minister Katioo ole Metito, but some of his fellow Maasai leaders do not seam to see the young man's abilities. They have been telling whoever cares to listen to them that the young man from Loitoktok is doomed to fail because " he is not experienced enough" to deal with matters security.

A businessman from Kiambu says he wants to bring to Kenya the controversial American Businessman Donald Trump. The man has been trying to secure an appointment with a senior minister for Trump when he arrives. However, the minister's handler's are cautious that  those pushing for the meeting may have ulterior motives after the local contact for Trump told them that it will be "a privilege" for him to meet the man known for his TV reality show, the Apprentice.

After the "defection" of nominated MP Rachael Shebesh, tongues are wagging over who may be next on the growing list of defectors. TNA insiders on Sunday evening sent a text claiming an ODM MP from the Coast and former Nairobi MP were headed to their direction while a senior ODM official in Nairobi was spotted having lunch with Shebesh in a restaurant on the Lenana Road yesterday. Our mole tells us that TNA mandated Shebesh to recruit more members for it in the city, and  the ODM official is among the many targets.

A pastor from in Kisii county is reported to have raped his own daughter on Monday last week. However, family members who are pressing for action against the man of the cloth, are said to be frustrated by the pastor's manoeuvres to escape justice.
