TRANSPORT ASSISTANT MINISTER TOURS KONGOWEA MARKET Transport Assistant Minister Hon. Hassan Ali Joho has toured the Kongowea market to console families of the four people who were killed recently, promising that those behind the killing will be brought to book soon. While on a tour of the market Hon Joho said there was a need to enhance security in Kisauni and Mombasa County, warning that insecurity is likely to hurt the economy of the resort city. The legislator further promised to fast track plan to have Kongowea Market operate for 24 hours. There was excited at the market when Hon. Joho made a grand entry in the market. During the tour, the legislator was able to meet and discuss face to face with traders at the Kongowea market. The Kisauni MP, who is also the Transport Assistant Minister promised to address the grievances that were presented to him by the traders. Before leaving the market, Hon. Joho donated Ksh100,000 towards the funeral expenses of the four security guards who were killed recently.
