The man who drives a huge car has borrowed millions of shillings from unsuspecting female colleagues. He borrows from the next victim to pay the last victim when pressure to pay is exerted on him.The MP's latest victim is a female assistant minister.

An aide to a senior politician has been threatening to release dossiers and pictures showing his boss in Tripoli with the Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi just before the December 27, 2007 general elections. The politician is said to have received millions of dollars from the Libyan government to finance his presidential campaigns.

A broke PNU MP has abandoned his wife. The woman is pleading with friends and relatives of the legislator to convince him to dedicate some time to the family. But he snubs calls from his wife and spends the night in a three-star hotel at the county headquarters whenever he is home. The MP is said to have hooked up with a woman he has employed at the CDF office.

State House stopped Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere from announcing a police reshuffle on Friday after operatives at Harambee House with vested interests rejected the list. Iteere wanted to disband an ethnic-modelled command at Vigilance House but some officials at Harambee objected because “their” people were not included. It seems Iteere has to go back to square one for the reshuffle to be approved.

A CID senior officer in Kisii faces interdiction for letting a flamboyant political activist out of lawful custody. The officer was ordered by his seniors to arrest the suspect for jumping bail after conning a former MP out of Sh5 million. A warrant of arrest was issued after he failed to present himself at Kibera Law Courts. There was drama at Suneka Airstrip as the activist was arrested but he slipped off as President Kibaki flew from the airstrip.
