Nairobi's Club Tropez Closed

PDF Print E-mail

Regular patrons of popular CBD hangout joint Tropez will have to look for another place to hang out since the club closed down yesterday. It is not known if the move is permanent as there are reports that the building has been bought by Somali businessmen who have flushed them out.
While trashing the claims that it's been closed for good, the club's management told us that they are only closing for the next three months as their building undergoes renovations and the club decided to renovate as well and will most likely come back as a lounge in a bid to beat the competition.
"There's a lot of competition and we felt it would be ideal to upgrade the place and offer better services to our clients; so don't worry, we will be back bigger and better."
The club is expected to reopen in April just in time for the Easter holidays. Most of the employees have been transferred to Sailor's club in Hurlingham which is owned by the same person as Tropez.
