Eldoret North MP William Ruto is scheduled to return on Monday morning after holding three day talks with International Criminal Court (ICC) officials on Kenya's post-election violence.

His legal team, comprising of Katwa Kigen and prof Kindiki Kithure, is however expected to jet in on Sunday at 8pm.

A statement by one of the suspended minister’s lawyers said the process of unearthing the truth and securing justice on the post-poll chaos would have no credibility if President Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga are not charged.

It has not yet been confirmed if Mr Ruto and his team of lawyers had personally met chief prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo during the three day visit

Mr. Ruto left the country on Wednesday night after securing an audience with the ICC officials. He was accompanied by his legal team and Belgut MP Charles Keter.

He had indicated at the time of departure that he would return during the weekend.
