William Ruto, Saturday told off foreigners for meddling in Kenya's affairs.

The Minister said Kenyans knew what was wrong with their country and were working to fix the problems and did not need lectures from foreigners who never offered any solutions.

The Minister, who spoke at a harambee for the proposed Nguzuu Secondary School at Sachang'wan in Mob district, however, said the meddling foreigners were welcome to help Kenya, but only if they had solutions to her problems.

The Minister made the remarks hours after the International Criminal Court prosecutor, Louis-Moreno Ocampo left the country.

He was accompanied by a section of Rift Valley MPs among them Energy Assistant Minister and Belgut Member of Parliament, Charles Keter, Molo MP, Joseph Kiuna, and Konoin MP, Dr. Julius Kones.

" Kenyans need to focus their energies on solving problems be delving the country that include a devastating food insufficiency, poor governance and not being distracted by daily lectures on their problems" said the minister.

He said the interfering in Kenyan's internal problems by what he called international busy bodies amounted to the infusion of negative energy that only worked to break the morale of wananchi.

Mau evictions

The leaders called on the people of the Rift Valley, who turned on each other during the post-election violence last year, to live harmoniously.

They once again asked the government to ensure that any evictions of encroachers into the Mau Forest is done humanely and only after it finds them alternative land, lest it creates another internally displaced people (IDP) problem even before it has finished resettling those displaced by the post-election violence last year.

The notice for the settlers to move out of the forest expires in two days time.
