Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has condemned the attack on Garissa University College in which the death toll has risen to 15.
In a statement, the Opposition leader said it was time to work closely with global partners in the war against terrorism by tapping into their intelligence.
“This outrageous attack must compel us to work even harder and be relentless in our efforts,” said Mr Odinga.
Mr Odinga has also urged the government to change its approach in fighting the terrorists, saying the attackers had changed how they carry out attacks.
“It is also my hope that our government sees that our enemies are changing tactics and venturing into an extremely worrying territory now, targeting institutions that are largely unsecured but which hold the future of our country. We must change tact too,” he said.
