Photos:Ruto stranded in Cologne Germany.

Ruto-CologneFor some reason, somehow Deputy President William Ruto was not able to fly  from the Hague and had to drive all the way to Berlin,a 6 hour 32 minutes ride without long stops. From his twitter message this morning,he posted photos of him and Rachel having coffee outside a Bonjour  fueling station on the way to Berlin.
Something must have happened because the next update was photos of him visiting Cologne Historical Cathedral,  a renowned  monument of German Catholicism and Gothic architecture and  World Heritage Site. It is Germany’s most visited landmark, attracting an average of 20,000 people a day.The Hague to Cologne by road takes 2 hours and 48 minutes without long stops.
From Cologne Cathedral,he went to  Cologne train station which is few minutes walk and where he posted more photos with a message “Now stranded outside Cologne train station after service cancelled. Will figure out where to lodge”.
Last update was at Cologne Airport with a message “Now trying a flight out of cologne thanks to Amb. Osinde”. Driving from Cologne to Berlin normally takes about 5 hours 16 minutes so it is not known if he was flying back to Nairobi or to Berlin.
Here are the photos courtesy of Deputy President William Ruto.
