Machakos County is definitely the place to be. Away from the controversies surrounding the recently concluded Masaku 7s, Machakos County Governor, Dr Alfred Mutua is at it again with major development projects.
The only performing governor on Tuesday unveiled the first of 260 Wananchi toilets that are being built in Machakos County. Through his Facebook page, he shared photos of the toilet built in less than 10 days utilizing new cutting edge construction technology.
Here’s what he posted: “Earlier today, I visited a public toilet that has been built in less than 10 days utilizing new cutting edge construction technology. The toilet is one of 260 Wananchi toilets that we are building in Machakos County. The toilets will be free to use and super clean. This particular toilet is at the junction of Machakos and Mombasa Road.”
