Some of the officials who handled ICC cases in the last administration are in a panic following a call by Kericho Senator Charles Keter that they quit office for identifying and coaching witnesses against Deputy President William Ruto. The officials are not sure where President Uhuru stands on the matter and have decided to send emissaries to Ruto's allies requesting to be spared and pledging their loyalty to serving the DP.

Several of the IEBC officials facing corruption and abuse of office charges in court have said they have a dossier about the last elections which they want to publish through mainstream and social media. It is not clear what exactly is contained in the dossier but one of them has whispered that the information "has the potential to bring the commission down" as it has details about what went on in the commission before, during and after the March 4 general election. The publication of the dossier is to hit back at the IEBC officials who they claim committed serious offences and are still running free.

The KDF top hierarchy are extremely miffed that the Defence Ministry has been rated the most corrupt government department in a recent survey undertaken by the government's Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.The survey findings, coming just a few days after the President admitted that corruption is rife in the security sector, have made some of the generals uneasy especially because they do not know what the President will do to stop the vice.

As expected, some of those who have applied for the job of managing director of the Kenya Airports Authority have found themselves under scrutiny from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. The EACC is keenly looking at some of the companies where the applicants are directors and which have had previous dealings with the KAA. One of the applicants is a man who is linked to one such company, which billed the KAA exorbitant rates for services rendered.
