Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama on Thursday said that the Wiper Party will initiate a dialogue with their ODM counterpart to have their MP step-down in favour of former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka.
Mr Muthama said that Wiper MPs had failed to agree on whom will step-down for Mr Musyoka prompting the party to appeal to their Cord counterpart.
He also dismissed rumours that the party had asked its nominated MP Bishop Robert Mutemi who is representing the minority groups in the National Assembly to step down for Mr Musyoka.
He also said that the Wiper party found it necessary to have Mr Musyoka in the National Assembly and assume the role of Minority Leader.
