Cord legislators have settled on a plan that will see former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka make a return to Parliament.
The plan involves the voluntary resignation of one of their own MP to allow Mr Musyoka to contest for the seat in the subsequent by-election.
Once back in Parliament, according to the plan, Mr Musyoka will assume the position of minority leader in Parliament.
The Cord legislators also settled on Bungoma Senators Moses Wetangula as the Senate Minority leader.
Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama will take the Chief Whip post.
