Uhuru, Ruto Attend Thanksgiving Mass
The two men set to steer the country as President and Deputy President today attended separate thanksgiving services to seek divine intervention as they seek to ascend to the presidency.

President Elect Uhuru Kenyatta attended a church service at the Martyrs of Uganda in his rural Gatundu home while his Deputy was at Faith Ministries in Karen
Speaking during the mass, Kenyatta reiterated his pledge to unite all Kenyans without discriminating on the basis of colour, tribe and religion.
The President Elect said the Jubilee government would fulfill the Jubilee manifesto faithfully to improve the lives of Kenyans.
'I thank God for the victory, it is a victory for all Kenyans. My deputy and I are prepared to work hard. It has been a long journey, but I thank God we have been successful,' said Uhuru.
Uhuru was accompanied by his wife Margaret, two sons and daughter, and his mother Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
Others who accompanied him were Kiambu County Governor Elect William Kabogo, Senator Elect Kimani Wamatangi, Women Representative Ann Nyokabi, Central Province Police Commissioner Japther Rugut and Kiambu County Commissioner William Njega.
The Mass was officiated by Bishop David Kamau, Auxiliary Bishop of the Nairobi Catholic Archdiocese.
And in Karen, Deputy President Elect William Ruto attended a church service and attributed their win to God.
An emotional Ruto said the Jubilee Alliance win would not have been possible without God's intervention.
At one point, the Deputy President Elect was overcome by emotions and shed tears freely as the church prayed for them.
