News : Ballot boxes, papers found at Kenyatta University
A story emerged at the Kenyatta University along Thika Road after students discovered voting materials in one of the rooms at the university. Reached for comment on phone, IEBC Chairman Ahmed Isack Hassan confirmed that some voting materials including ballot boxes and unused ballot papers could have been left at the university premises as the institution had a polling station there. Hassan blamed what he termed careless staff members for leaving the materials there. Angry students at the scene however had a different view. Here are the pictures from Kenyatta University.
