A number of MPs-elect and senators-elect are about to resign and take up Cabinet positions if the Supreme Court upholds the election of Uhuru Kenyatta as the Fourth President. Those leaders are tipped to occupy some of the most powerful positions in Uhuru Kenyatta's administration. Some of the names come from TNA and URP parties.

Lobbying for positions in Uhuru's government is at its highest with losers in the election calling whoever they think can help them get through to the President-elect and his Deputy William Ruto. Some have even been calling drivers and bodyguards of those they believe have access to the two Jubilee leaders.

A Vihiga TNA official wants President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta to reward him for his efforts. The man was behind the failed bid to bring a group of councillors to meet Uhuru before the elections, which angered UDF presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi. The man has told close friends he will not take "no" for an answer this time. Despite his efforts, TNA overlooked him in the party nominations for another person whom he claims failed to effectively market the party in the region, leading to a dismal performance.
