The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) has postponed the filing of a petition seeking to contest the election of Uhuru Kenyatta as the President.
CORD has pushed the filing of the petition to Saturday at the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court remains open to transact duties in both weekends and weekdays thus making it possible for the petition to be filed on a weekend.

CORD cites many applications before the Supreme Court as the reasons behind the move adding that the postponement averts the ‘mix up’ with other petitioner.
Siaya Senator elect James Orengo asserted that the move is strategic and that they have a water tight case to prove that the just concluded presidential elections were not credible.
