A man commits suicide on roof of his master’s house in Bondo

Bondo, Siaya County: Residence of Kasau village Nyamonye sub-location Bondo District woke up to a shocking incident when a body of 27 years old man was found dangling on a roof of his master’s house. According to chief of North Yimbo location Mr. Opil Rabut, the deceased Julius Onyango is said to have left his master’s home Sunday morning that he was going to his paternal home in the neighboring Siaya District, only to come back late night while drunk. However, Monday morning his body was found hanging on the roof after he had already taken his life under unclear circumstances. Chief Rabut who confirmed the incident said that there was no suicide note left, but they only found ksh.200 and national identity card in the pocket of the deceased. The administration officer added that police had been informed about the incident as the body waits to be removed to Bondo District Hospital morgue for postmortem. Rabut who declared rampant cases of suicide in that region advised residents to shun from the vice, noting that people should always find amicable means of solving their problems instead of taking their lives under such mysterious circumstances.
