Narc party leader Charity Ngilu has claimed Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka pushed her out of ODM to the G7.
Ngilu said while trying to see how they could work together for the benefit of the Kamba community, Kalonzo told her they could only do that under the G7 alliance.
“Kalonzo told me that we could work together as Kamba leaders if we got into G7. He told me that Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto had sent him to me with a request that we go to G7 and form a winning alliance,” said the Narc leader.
She said it took her by surprise to learn that the VP had agreed to sign a pre-election pact with Prime Minister Raila Odinga on December 4, while she had agreed to work with him in an alliance with Uhuru and Ruto.
The Kitui Central MP said she had accurately done her arithmetic and seen that Jubilee stands the best chance to form the next government. “We know each leader’s stronghold and as per the voter registration figures released by IEBC, there is no way Cord can trounce Jubilee. I can promise you Jubilee is forming the next government,” she said.
Ngilu said she was committed to ensure the Jubilee alliance wins the elections and form a transformative government that can address the challenges facing Kenyans.
She said the Jubilee brings together youthful aspirants who have the interests of Kenyans at heart against a Cord alliance that is composed of leaders who only want to get into history books.
She criticised the past leadership for letting Kenyans down by promising goodies they never delivered.
