Kwanga has since isolated himself from the incident. The incident took place at Cham gi Wadu trading center as he proceeded to Kitunja primary school where his entourage was to stop for a rally. The minister was scheduled to address rallies at the shopping center but was forced to cancel his itinerary. Nobody was injured during the Sunday evening fracas. The minister had earlier on conducted a series campaign rallies in different villages of Kamgundho, Kondoro, Koyar, Kanyimach and Kogenya Primary schools. The minister was also touring different Constituency Development Funds projects in his area where he presented cheques for completion of educational projects. During his campaign rallies minister refuted claims that he masterminded recent attack on a Migori county governor aspirant Mrs. Anne Anyanga, at Rongo primary school in Rongo township. The attack on the minister is the second in less than a week to be witnessed in Rongo. Last week, an aspirant for Migori gubernatorial seat Ms Anyanga was accosted by a group of young men who disrupted her campaign rally in Rongo town, forcing her to flee for her safety. Politicians from the region led by aspirant for Rongo parliamentary seat aspirants Gradus Oluoch, Paul Abuor and mayor for Rongo town Charles Omolo have condemned the violence terming them as cowardly and uncalled for. Migori OCPD Alfred Makoma said police are investigating the incident and those behind the violence will be arrested.


A THIEF targeted a major Microsoft complex over Christmas – but made off instead with iPads made by rival tech giant Apple.

The burglar broke into the research facility – understood to contain Xboxes, Windows Phones and Surface tablets made by Bill Gates's firm – and swiped almost £2,000 worth of Apple gear. 
Two iPad 2s, two iPad 3s and one iPad 4 disappeared during the raid near San Francisco, California between December 19 and December 26. 

Local Police Sgt. Sean Thompson said there was no sign of a forced entry and a suspect is yet to be found. 
The Apple products, with a total price tag of around $3,000 (£1,870), were swiped from three offices in Microsoft Building 5. 
Microsoft’s Mountain View campus, which was closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, is a research facility where new products are tested for security flaws.
