IEBC adjourns party primaries dispute hearing

NAIROBI,KENYA: The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) tribunal has adjourned to Thursday the hearing of petitions filed by aspirants after nominations.
The hearing which was taking place at the Milimani law courts in Nairobi were postponed to allow complainants to serve politicians and political parties.
IEBC is set to hear about 110 disputes arising from the just concluded parties’ primaries.
On Wednesday, IEBC was expected to hear disputes from Wiper party, UDF, URP, Narc, Kanu, Federal Party of Kenya (FPK), Ford Kenya, New Ford Kenya,  PICK and Kenya National Congress (KNC).
Petitions by aspirants from TNA and ODM were to be heard on Thursday.
