An ODM MP in Western who has been flirting with UDF has been put on notice by his two wives —quit ODM and lose both of them. The man has since pretended to have cooled his ardor for UDF in hopes of hoodwinking his supposes that his loyalty still lay with ODM However, unconvinced, his rural wife confronted him outside the CDF offices and told him off for wavering in his commitment to ODM. Not to be outdone, his city wife has not given the man any respite and has been nagging him and generally making life at home very difficult. To mollify the women and show his loyalty and commitment to ODM, the man has in recent weeks being making sure he is photographed standing or sitting just behind the PM.

Just what is the relevance of a police unit formed to investigate land matters at the CID headquarters? It seems that instead of investigating land matters the officers assigned to the team have ganged up with fraudsters to dispossess and deny justice to the complainants. The CID Director and IG David Kimaiyo have their work cut out for them as the activities of some of the officers in the team are further damaging the already dented image of the service. The investigators involved in the racket have even threatened their colleagues who attempted to unravel one of the land buying syndicates in Kiambu which have been conning people millions of shillings under the pretext they had land for sale.

A parastatal chief whose organization was among those cited for being engaged in the universal medical scheme scam has quietly been reinstated. Our moles tell us that although the man has not made his reappearance in the office, he has been receiving daily reports on the organization since his reinstatement was made in November last year. They say the man is just biding his time before he makes his reappearance. He is confident that the medical scheme saga was a 'mere creation of the media' and that even the best auditors in the world could not find anything illegal about the scheme. 'Everything was above board,” he was overheard bragging.
