Zack of 'Bring Zack Back Home' Admitted In Hospital

Bring Zack Back Home

Zachary Kimotho, the famous Zack of 'Bring Zack Back Home' campaign is currently admitted at the Nairobi Hospital. It was not immediately established what's the illness but he is said to urgently require blood group O.

Zack has been the face of the campaign to build a spinal injury treatment centre, dubbed Bring Zack Back Home. He embarked on a trip to South Africa on his wheel chair symbolizing the agony Spinal Injury victims go through, to access the nearest treatment centre. Donations to the campaign were mainly through Safaricom and at the end of last month, over Sh 70 million had been collected against the expected Sh 250 million. The first phase of the campaign ended on 17th August this year, after Zack had covered 115 kilometres.

Zack attended Nyeri High School and Nakuru High School for his O and A level respectively, before graduating from the University of Nairobi with a degree in veterinary medicine. In 2004, he was shot from close range during a carjacking along the Nairobi - Nakuru Highway, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

If you are in a position to give blood, please do; for Zack and everyone else in need.
We wish him quick recovery.
