What is the meaning of Uhuru’s TNA, Ruto’s URP, UDF, Raila’s ODM etc?

Saturday October 13, 2012 - A lot of propaganda is rife over the initials of political parties in rural areas.

For example, in Samburu County Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta party The National Alliance (TNA) is referred to as  kiti yio ene( all of us here) while William Ruto’s party the United Republican Party sounds ( yioo err pii) which means finishing us completely!

In Nyanza TNA is being referred as Tuko Na Agwambo (we are with Raila Odinga) while in Nyeri TNA is called the party of (Tigana Na Athini) (don’t bother with the poor).

Also in Nyeri County sympathizers of GNU refer to it as (Gia Na Umiriru) which means be emboldened.
