MP’S phone switched off by CCK for being FAKE




Tuesday 2nd October 2012 - The recent move by CCK to shut down all counterfeit handsets in the nation has hit the road with the latest vitim being a Luo Nyanza legislator whose phone was switched off.

According to our source, the MP in his 30’s is well known for his big mouth in supporting the PM during his 2007 general election. His iPhone China handset was switched off yesterday.

The MP has threatened to sue the PhoneLink shop where he bought the phone at anexorbitant price of over Ksh 140000. The MP claims that the sellers have a duty to make the buyers aware of the product on sale.

The phone link shop has denied all allegations saying they do not merchandise on any iPhone and challenged the MP to bring the case on.

The MP has threatened to sue the driver and his PA because they were involved in buying the counterfeit phone.

The MP sacked his driver this morning and was earlier seen driving along Parliament road alone.
