Tuesday October 9, 2012 - Word on the street has it that former TV personality Ester Arunga has made a shocking revelation that she will be Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s running mate in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking to one of the local radio stations on Tuesday, Arunga who is now a barrister in Australia said she will convince Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta to be his running mate in order to fulfill her ambitions of leading the country in 2017.
Arunga said she admired The National Alliance (TNA) party and she wants to be part and parcel of the party that will form the next government.
She said as a successful lawyer she will help the TNA government in implementing the constitution according to the wishes of the people.
She urged Kenyans not to make fun of her on the announcement, because she has what it takes to be Uhuru’s running mate.
