Housing assistant minister Margaret Wanjiru, a close ally of Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has given the strongest hint that she will quit ODM for another party.
Bishop Wanjiru said she was not comfortable with the way she was being treated in ODM and would shop for another party on whose ticket she would vie for seat in the next elections.
“As a leader, one of my management principles is that I go where I am celebrated, not where I am tolerated,” the Starehe MP said in Nakuru Town where she had gone to commission projects worth more than Sh55 million undertaken by the ministry.

Ms Shebesh also attended Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s TNA retreat in Naivasha.
Both Bishop Wanjiru and Ms Shebesh are members of ODM’s Re-loaded team, which has been leading Mr Odinga’s presidential campaigns.
