Sunday, September 02, 2012 - Word on the street has it that Daily Nation newspaper’s political journalist Oliver Mathenge is Uhuru Kenyatta’s project and has been used by the deputy Prime Minister to tone down news related to him.
Apparently Uhuru has bought the journalist a flashy car and a house at an up market estate. Unconfirmed reports also indicate that Mathenge has in the past one year had continuous private meetings with Uhuru which has raised eyebrows.
Journalists on a mission to defame Mathenge have gone a peak higher to even investigate his ex girlfriend on the allegations that he has been having a relationship with the Deputy Premier. These allegations came after the media house tried attempts to have an interview with Uhuru but failed miserably.
Has anyone read Mathenge’s reports on ICC and other sagas related to Uhuru? One would definitely realize the soft tone and touch on rather serious and high-octane stories against other stories he has written?
