UDF is stronger than ODM and what has RAILA done for 4 years as PM…….NOTHING – MUDAVADI says

Saturday September 9, 2012 - Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi led scathing attacks at the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), saying his party UDF is currently stronger than the Orange Party.

Addressing thousands of his supporters in Mayoni and Enjija trading centres in Matungu district on Saturday, Mudavadi argued that ODM party was a mere shell of its former self, following the defection of himself, Eldoret North MP William Ruto and Water Minister Charity Ngilu.

Mudavadi, who is also the UDF presidential flagbearer, said he ditched ODM because of lack of democracy and selfishness among its party leaders.

He said his party would strive to unite Kenyans, create job opportunities, fight graft and ensure citizens get affordable and quality health care and education.

“We need to elect a person who has the interest of Kenyans and the country at heart and can be relied upon to implement the new Constitution and drive the country forward,” Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi, who also the Sabatia MP, challenged Prime Minister Raila Odinga, saying he should show Kenyans his performance record before going for the top seat.

“President Kibaki has a good development credentials. What has Raila done to the country in those four years he has been the PM?” the DPM posed.
