The Kenya365 Instagram Project
A group of Kenyan Instagramers have launched the first Kenyan Instagram project dubbed #Kenya365. Instagram has become very popular in Kenya after the launch of the official Instagram for Android app a few months ago. The goal of the project is to collect pictures from Kenyan Instagramers for the one year beginning September 1st 2012.
The initiative will showcase Kenya to the world through the eyes (or the cameras) of individual ordinary Kenyans. There is only one rule to the project, just post one picture per day with the tag #Kenya365.
The project is an initiative of Erik Hersman and Mutua Matheka and is open to any willing Kenyan who has access to the popular photo sharing network, Instagram.
