Prime minister Raila Odinga’s son, Fidel Odinga, has dismissed rumours that he is going to divorce his newly wedded Eritrean wife, Lwam Bekele. According to sources close to Fidel, he was really disappointed after reading the rumours on the internet. It was alleged that he had found his newly wedded wife in a rather compromising situation with his best friend after a night out at a club in town.
“Fidel and Lwam are very happy contrary to these allegations. He is shocked and is wondering how these rumours came up. He just wants to be left alone to enjoy his marriage,” the source told Word Is. The couple got married in July at a very private event at the Greek Orthodox church along Valley Road, Nairobi after dating for over a year. This was the second wedding for Fidel after he split up with his first wife Veronica Wanjiru and finalised their divorce late last year.
