Hon Cyrus Jirongo on G7 Alliance and "Project Parties"

Following a public debate over Hon Cyrus Jirongo's comments on the G7 Alliance and the allegations of state sponsored political parties, @TeamJirongo has uploaded the unabridged speech as was relayed during the burial of Livingstone Tumba Kibunguchi, the father of former Lugari MP Dr Enock Kibunguchi at Makindu village on 9th June 2012. This speech was relayed in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, Housing Minister Soita Shitanda, Planning Minister, Wycliffe Oparanya, Former Minister for Trade, Mukhisa Kituyi and Chairman Public Accounts Committee, Bonny Khalwale. Cyrus Jirongo, a United Republican Party (URP) Presidential aspirant said that political parties are being infiltrated to render them uncompetitive in the forth coming elections.Jirongo said current political alliances endangered the existence of multi-tribal parties as they were being deliberately created to lock specific ethnic groups into cocoons to kill the possibility of any party threatening the status quo. Jirongo said that Mudavadi's United Democratic Forum (UDF) party, Ruto's URP and deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta's The National Alliance were among the six political parties the State operatives were sponsoring to divide key communities to remain in power.
