Keep off ODM matters, Kalonzo told

By Mutinda MwanziaVice-President Kalonzo Musyoka has been accused of meddling in ODM affairs.
The VP came under attack for alleging that Prime Minister Raila Odinga is running ODM in a dictatorial manner.
Immigration Minister Otieno Kajwang’ said Mr Kalonzo should keep off ODM matters and instead concentrate on managing ODM-Kenya, which he described as a nondescript political outfit.
"Kalonzo may be the VP of the Republic of Kenya but in terms of size and political influence, he cannot compare with Raila. He plays in a lower division politically," said Mr Kajwang’.
He said Kalonzo lacks political spine and bolted out of the original ODM-Kenya party ahead of the 2007 after sensing that Raila would defeat him as the party presidential flag bearer.
"That’s why he fled with the party forcing us to find a home in ODM. His actions and utterances are wanting," said Kajwang’.
On Friday, Kajwang’ said Kalonzo’s association with rebel ODM MPs led by suspended Higher Education Minister William Ruto is a scheme to undermine Raila and the party.
