ODM leaders want former Ikolomani MP Bonny Khalwale to defect and join Prime Minister RailaOdinga’s party. We are told that MPs led by Westlands MP Fred Gumo want ODM to back Khalwale but other leaders in the same party say Khalwale, who is also known as a bull fighter, must first quit new Ford-Kenya for ODM before ODM can consider him.

Still on Ikolomani, we are told that a member of parliament from western region took advantage of ODM indecision on whether to back Khalwale or not to push for a direct party nomination of  Benard Shinali. We are told that the top leadership wanted to throw their weight behind Khalwale claiming that the country's transition needs such leaders.

Nairobi Police Chief Anthony Kibuchi wants the city inspectorate department put under his ambit. Reason? the city council askaris have been filling his police cells with petty offenders, who end up there after refusing to part with bribes. We are told that the man wants to instill discipline and rule of law in the  askaris, some of whom are abusing their arresting powers.

The son of a prominent politician has run into trouble once again. The man defrauded  a local bank close to sh 30 million using fake documents. We are told that the bank is threatening to name and shame the man apart from taking him to the credit reference bureau, where he will blacklisted. Our mole has now informed us that the matter has been reported to the police for investigations and possible prosecution.
