Share/Save/Bookmark One of the senior ministers in the shuttle diplomacy trip to lobby the UN Security Council members to defer the cases against the Ocampo Six was excited when he learnt that the council had agreed to hold an informal meeting to discuss the matter. The Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission has discovered millions of shillings in an account held by an official of the Communication Commission of Kenya. We are told that the man’s account had more than Sh100 million and another account registered in his underage daughter reflected another Sh76 million. KACC's interest has been pricked and its officers have now decided to ask the man to account for his millions as they are at variance with his wealth declaration form which all public servants including parastatals have to present every year.

The Gigiri division police is either colluding with or is totally blind about what is going on at the Parklands police station which is under his jurisdiction and which has become common knowledge in the division. It is interesting that he does not know that the police occurence book at Parklands Police Station is being made available to emissaries of a well known Kenyan Asian businessman. They trawl through the incidents reported at the station by or against Kenyan Asians and then uses the information to threaten and intimidate those mentioned and even extorts money under the threat that he can have them arrested. The policemen at the station are so in awe of the man that they willingly do as the businessman asks them to do.
