Saturday February 2, 2013 - Water Minister Charity Ngilu has poked holes on Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Presidential bid, saying he does not have any development record.
Addressing her constituents after presenting her papers in Kitui, Ngilu said Raila and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka pretend to have initiated developments but it is President Kibaki and his close confidantes who initiated road projects in the country.
She said Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) leaders are opportunists who are hoodwinking Kenyans on development records initiated by President Mwai Kibaki.
Ngilu, who is also eyeing the Kitui Senate seat, tore into his competitor’s track record saying David Musila has no development record in Kitui County.
The Narc party leader said she has an assailable advantage over Musila because she has initiated many health and water projects in Kitui.
Ngilu and Musila will battle out for the Kitui senate seat.
